Growing up in the bay area Richmond Ca to be exac,t wasn't easy. Being molested as a adolescent, having a drug out mother and an absent father made life for her hard. Working at the age of 12 to provide for her 5 brothers and sisters, Lola understands what hard work is about.   She is now working hard on her novels and bringing friends along the ride with her. She resides in Brentwood Ca with her beautiful son Lannon and husband.
 
Lola Bandz came and gave readers what they were missing in the literary world. Classic hood novels.  She began working on her debut novel "Fyast Life" in 2006 and took a 3 year break because it was so close to home. Hunger growling in her stomach Shadow decided to focus on her game and give "Fyast Life" her full attention. She finished "Fyast Life" in October 2009, three months after she began working on her next novel "The Diamond and Dolce Outlaws", Which started off as a 6part short book series and is now being transformed into a trilogy. Lola is determined to show the world what they have been missing out on.
